What counts as a call
What counts as a qualified new-patient call.
The 15-Call Rule counts one thing. Here is the definition, word for word.
Book a callSee how many people near you searched for tox last month.
A qualified new-patient call is a call that:
- comes to the spa’s front desk number during the practice’s working hours, and
- lasts at least 60 seconds, or
- rings out unanswered during working hours. A ring-out still counts. The ad made the phone ring; answering it is the practice’s job, and an unanswered ring is not the agency’s fault.
For your spa, a counted call is:
- To your front desk, in working hours
- Answered: 60 seconds or more
- Rang out unanswered in working hours: still counts
- Not on your patient list
- Not spam
You have 5 business days to dispute any call.
The minimum length is the same everywhere: 60 seconds.
How you check the count
New patients call a tracked line that rings your front desk. Every call is logged and recorded, so you can play any call before day 30.
Call questions
Callers hear a “this call may be recorded” line first. If you’d rather not record, we keep the log and drop the audio.
If it rings out unanswered in working hours, it still counts. Ringing it is our job. Answering it is yours. Every call, answered or not, is in your call log. If missed calls are the problem, the optional Callback Desk, our AI call agent, calls them back from your number.
That call doesn’t count. A counted call is not on your patient list. If one shows up in the log, you have 5 business days to dispute it.
